Tough Question Tuesday: How Do You Label Your Kids Clothing?

Q:  How Do You Label Your Kids Clothing?

A:  Let me tell you.  I am NOT a fan of writing on my daughters clothing.  I never have, I never will.  It’s just one of ‘those things’ I can’t bring myself to do.  I would sooner get out the masking tape or make a label out of white address labels, before I put any kind of markings on her items.

Call me crazy, but paying good money for clothing and then having to write her name on it, because of school requirements, isn’t going to fly with me.  Maybe because I know the resale value may suffer.  I’ve been selling on eBay too long to put a profitable item at risk!

Can you tell this is a touchy subject?  ;-)

I discovered Loveable Labels:-)   A wonderful alternative to marking up your kids clothing.  Loveable Labels has been voted “Best Kids Labels”.  They certainly have my vote!

Loveable Labels include Regular and Slimline Stickers, Shoe Labels, Iron-ons and Bag Tags.  They are not only bright, fun and colourful but also met the high standards that parents have come to expect.  The Regular and Slimline labels are microwave and dishwasher safe, the Iron-on labels stay put in the washer and dryer, the Shoe Labels have an extra strength adhesive to ensure they won’t come off and the Bag Tags are made of a durable and flexible plastic.

I use these on everything, and now my daughter knows to use them on her clothing, show n tell, toys we travel with, etc.  ;-)

Check them out and let me know what you think!  Loveable Labels

I’m with you Jen! I won’t put my sons name on his clothes. Why not make it easier for strangers to approach my son having his name on his shirt?? Uh no. We were requested to put his name on his backpack and lunchbag, which I don’t mind that so much. But why would he be taking off his shirt so that it would lost or mixed up? Get my drift?
The labels are cute as far as putting them on sippy cups or bags and books. Those are great ways to label stuff.
    Clothes, na.

I started selling on ebay when my now 11 year old was around 3, so I am the same way with clothes. Everyone laughs at me because I will say, be careful that is going on ebay. I cannot write on clothes, never could after I listed my first item, lol.
