It’s College Hoops Time – What to Promote on eBay?

The brackets are filled in, maybe even a few wagers have been made, the feeling of competition is in the air, and everyone at the office is discussing it. You’ve got it, it’s time to find out who is tops in college basketball.

The past months of hard work and hardwood match-ups, come to a peak during this annual single-elimination tournament, resulting in the bright moment for the team declared the 2010-2011 season champion.

Demand for college basketball items on eBay started to climb in late February, and will remain in demand past the end of the tournament on April 4. As customers seek a way to show their school spirit, help them out by reminding them that eBay has lots to offer for game day essentials.

A Winners Pick

Everyone has a reason for cheering on a school, whether it’s a long-time favorite, their alma mater, or just wanting to root for the long-shot. Update Your eBay Listing To Reflect New Carrier Rates

Carrier rates have changed once again! They became effective January 3 for UPS and January 2 for USPS.

Make sure to review your shipping costs so that they reflect these new rates.

Once in effect, rates in the Shipping Calculator, eBay Shipping Labels and PayPal Shipping Labels will be updated as well.

My 2010 eBay Taxes Are DONE! Are yours?

Holiday Shipping Deadlines 2010

As you’re busily packing and shipping your items from eBay, keep in mind the USPS Holiday Schedule!  If you like to sell toys for the holidays – a good time to wrap up any shipping is typically by December 15th – just to be safe your package will be delivered on time for Christmas.

If you sell toys all year make sure you point out the delivery schedule up front to keep your buyers informed of a possible late package.
