Finish Up Your Back To School Sales On eBay – Time For Halloween!

It’s crazy to say, but Back To School Sales are at an end and Halloween Costumes will be picking up soon if they haven’t been already.  I know it’s only August, but you know the saying….the early bird catches the worm…

I’m very curious to see the new designs out this year.  Especially for the new movies, like Toy Story 3.  I love to see the new creations of Pottery Barn Kids and Gymboree.  They are always consistent every year and pull a high resale value both new and pre-owned.  Check out the  Costumes on eBay that are doing well right now!!

Have You Found The Hottest Backpack?

It’s no doubt…finding the perfect backpack for the first day of school weighs heavy on the mind of my 7 year old!  We’re at the Tween stage of things already.  Too old for Dora, and I’m in denial about letting her get anything Juicy Couture! 

So, I search eBay of course!

So, what will it be….  Here’s a great start on what’s selling on eBay as far as finding a Backpack. 

I’ll use this as my guage on how to be in the know on what to get while we’re in the middle of the isle with three backpacks to decide on and 10 other moms in my shoes. 

My guess is this…

Justice Backpack  – Justice for girls has become so popular – and you can now find them in overstock stores like Marshall’s/Ross/TJMaxx for a fraction of the price.  The Zebra Hot Pink Patterns and Piece Signs are very popular, including the Messenger Bags.  Resale value is good, as long as the bag makes it through the school year!

Jansport Backpack - Like a good friend…Jansport has always been around.  This is my personal pick and I’m hoping to influence her decision on this style.  You know you can find Jansport in a lot of retail locations at a reasonable price.

And of course, the standby Disney Backpack - which I’m hoping we’re past this stage – but she IS a huge Disney Channel fan. We’ll cross that melt down when we come to it.  Disney holds a steady resale value, especially when sold new on eBay.  I curious to see how the new movie releases will do, like Toy Story 3.

It’s August! How’s eBay Going?

Can you believe Summer will be over in a few short weeks?  My oldest daughter will be heading to Second Grade this September.  My days will be filled with running her to/from the bus stop twice a day, with my now 16 month old on my hip.  Nights full of homework, and early bed time stories. 

Let’s not forget that eBay Back To School Sales will be winding down this month!  Get out those costumes and stock Halloween in your store, if you haven’t been doing so already!  Plus, any winter coats or extra heavy clothing items that you’ve been itching to get out of the house to free up some storage will need to be ready to go this month as well.

Finally, be prepared for any HOLIDAY sales!  Yes, Christmas outfits must be ready no later than October for family portraits!
