What To Sell On eBay In February

February should be jam-packed with Spring sales! Your store should be well stocked with Spring merchandise already. You should also be pushing Easter outfits and any Easter toys at this time, as they will sell well. Pair sweaters with dresses and cross-sell any Easter style shoes.

I’ve even watched a few of our subscribers at Boutique Bargains & Beyond put together special themed Easter Baskets!  They’re really adorable.  Disney Themed baskets with Princess items, Pixar Cars, Star Wars…whatever the fad is, be creative!  They sell really well.  ;)

If Easter falls in March, you’ll want to be prepared in January.  However, this year Easter is on April 12th.

Let’s get busy!

I find convenience is by far what I need these days.  I’m expecting a little one in a couple months, and my 5 year old certainly keeps me busy.

What better way to cut some corners by saving me time and money.  Meal time in our house is never a thought process when you have the menu prepared in advance, and Dine Without Whine does exactly that.  Don’t miss out on this great deal!

Going Beyond Selling Boutique Children’s Clothing On eBay

There’s more to eBay than just selling Children’s Boutique Clothing – we all know that.

Even though my passion still migrates to high end designer & Boutique Children’s Clothing, it’s time to freshen up things a bit on Boutique Bargains.

Boutique Bargains has grown SO much, and evolved into much more than just a great resource for finding high quality Boutique Children’s clothing for you to sell from your eBay store.  We’ve reached a new level beyond just Boutique clothing.

Not only does BB send alerts out on what children’s clothing is at a steep
enough discount for resale:

- BB now has members who buy new Boutique clothing for their own kids and
sell it on eBay gently used – a great, great niche to get into.
- BB also sends out Toy alerts on Hot Toy trends.
- BB sends out alerts on hot selling adult and maternity clothing.
- BB sends out alerts on hot selling bedding.
- BB has learning courses, for the beginner AND for the advanced seller.

And I’m sure there is more!

So, as you can see, Boutique Bargains has gone BEYOND just children’s Boutique Clothing. ;)

Which brings me to the latest update.

Boutique Bargains is now:

Boutique Bargains & Beyond!
~Alerting You To Clothes, Toys & More To Sell From Your eBay Store.

It’s short and to the point, and reflects exactly what Boutique Bargains is all about.  Come check us out and take your auction selling to the next level. :)

See you on the inside!

Happy Selling,

~Jenn

TQT: How long have you been with Ebay and a member of Boutique Bargains?

Q: How long have you been with Ebay and a member of Boutique Bargains?

A: I’ve been an ebay addict for over 8 years now!! I started by buying everything, then when my daughter was born – my drive to stay home with her turned Ebay into my career. I am able to pay for her school tuition and her clothes. I’ve been with Boutique Bargains for about 6 years, where I’ve met a lot of wonderful moms in the same situation.  I have remained really good friends with a few of the gals, it’s a great family at Boutique Bargains and we welcome everyone.

Over the years things just evolved in to becoming more and more business related with previous owners of the site, and now I happen to be owner of Boutique Bargains!  Crazy how things work out.  I still really have a big passion for clothes and eBay.  It’s a good fit for me right now.

Boutique Bargains Top Affiliate: Perri Huddleston – The Tickled Turtle Boutique

I wanted to take a moment to recognize one of our Top Affiliates at Boutique Bargains.  My many thanks to Perri for being with Boutique Bargains.  Her Affiliate Commission far exceeds her monthly membership, it’s a win win all the way around!

Perri is eBay store owner of The Tickled Turtle Boutique

About Perri

I am a stay at home and a full-time Silver-Level Powerseller for over 4 years now. I sell girls boutique brand clothing, toys, and dolls. Selling on eBay allowed me to quit my full-time job as a pharmaceutical sales representative and stay home with my darling daughter. I work very hard and sometimes long hours, but the job is fun at the same time. Knowledge of the market, organization, and time-management are the keys to my success.

For my girls boutique clothing to be profitable on eBay I have to purchase my inventory at very low prices. The email alerts that I get from Boutique Bargains allow me to buy the high-end brands at below wholesale prices. My customers love the great savings that I can pass on to them. My motto is “Wake up every morning and do something that you love.” And, I Iove selling on eBay!

You don’t have to be a member of Boutique Bargains to be an affiliate, but like Perri, it’s certainly an added bonus to be able to earn enough commissions every month to virtually have a free membership!  You earn 50% for every member that joins Boutique Bargains through your affiliate link!

Thanks again, Perri and keep up the good work!

Tough Question Tuesday: What Is A Good Amount Of eBay Inventory To Have Invested?

What is a good amount of inventory to have invested?

Excellent Question!

This could vary for everyone depending on your budget. If your budget is small, be selective and take note of what season you are in.

A lot purchases that will be made for clothing and holiday items for the purpose of resale will be made offseason, possibly taking some time to see a return.  This is why it could take a good year to build up inventory to sell all year ’round.

Right now stores are rotating out inventory, so you will see a lot of great deals out there, believe me, 75% off of Christmas items ARE around, you want to stock up fast!

Stick with your budget.

If you only set aside $500 or $1,000, then stick to it.  In the begining it’s easy to get sucked into a good sale.  But always remember you have to do your research!  Just because it’s on sale, doesn’t mean it will always sell or sell for a profit.

Chances are if you’re keeping up with your research, or you’re keeping up with the Boutique Bargains Alerts Service that we offer with our Boutique Bargains Membership – you’ll see what sells well every season. ;)

Happy Selling!

Tough Question Tuesday: Do You Like Being An eBay Trading Assistant?

Do you like being a Trading Assistant?

I am looking into doing this to build some capital and I’m not sure how overwhelming it will be for me.

I can tell you it’s not for everyone. It definitely can get overwhelming.

What I like about it, is once you get a feel for what sells, you can pick and choose what you want to sell for your customers explaining to them what will bring you BOTH the best profit.

I know of a couple Boutique Bargains subscribers who have expanded to reaching out to local boutiques and have formed some great relationships selling their boutique items.

What you charge is up to you. Take into consideration your time – you are the one taking pictures, listing, packing, shipping…etc. Your ebay fees as well need to incorporate into all of this.

I started out by selling for my family, then expanded to friends…then friends of friends!

Good Luck! :)
