Neat New eBay Research Tool

I was poking around online, looking for some eBay tools and I came across this free research tool

Is it as beefy as Terapeak ?  NO – it’s not, but it gets the job done.

A couple things to know:

There are a couple of filters applied in order to reduce the amount of information that must be searched through.

The filters are:

1) The item’s final price was at least $10

2) The item was being sold by a top-rated seller

This reduces the amount of sold items to a manageable level, hence providing very fast searching capability.

It’s short and to the point and will give you a snapshot in time of some pricing history. http://marksight.com/

There is a new feature on the site called “eBay Hot Items”.

This page displays lists of keyword phrases that received unusually high bidding from buyers, grouped by eBay category.  One may use the page to get ideas on what sells, or just see it for fun.  Nevertheless I believe this to be an important indicator of what may be good items to sell on eBay.
